Therefore, it can be eaten by all sorts of people from children to diabetic patients and obese people for healthy diet.

As kale is a leafy vegetable, it can be used in many different ways, like cabbage. It needs to be separated from the stem and cut into thin slices or it can also be torn by hands. These pieces can be mixed as a salad with other dressings and toppings or can also be taken as a smoothie by blending with other fruits, sugar or salt.
Other than that, kale can be taken as baked, steamed, fried, and even sautéed as well. But, it should not be overcooked which can lessen the nutrition value of it. The best thing would be to make a juice of it and drink it after a light meal. It will not only suffice the hunger but also keep the body energetic.

Even though there is no hard and fast rule about the quantity one should take, the amount depends on the calories someone needs. Still, for an approximate idea, one can have 100 grams of kale in a week for better results. It can vary from person to person.
